You need
- a microphone - Suggestions
- for mobile recordings: a recorder - Suggestions
- a notebook or PC with "line in" or "mic" port
- an internet connection
- an FTP-server
Creating Audio Files
Studio
Connect your microphone to your PC or notebook.
Now you need a record software.
We are using Audacity to create our audio files. Follow this link to learn how to install and use Audacity: Install and use Audacity.
Mobile
We used the Sony MZ-RH 1 MiniDisk player and the Sony ECM-MS 907 microphone to record our mobile Podcasts.
Install Sonic Stage. You will find everything you need in the Sony MZ-RH 1 MiniDisk package.
After you have recorded your Podcast, connect the Sony MZ-RH 1 MiniDisk to your PC or notebook.
Copy the files via Sonic Stage to your hard disk.
You're now able to edit the files or upload them to your server.
Offering Podcasts
After saving your audio files, you can put them on a server for everybody's disposal.
