  • Shure SM-48:

For professionals, Shure is the only choice concerning microphones. It doesn't matter if you are part of a garage band or a famous band which tours a lot, Shure has a solution for each request or price class. The SM-48 is around 60€ (amazon.de) and is a high quality microphone featuring a very good cost-performance ratio. It records in frequencies from 55 - 16000 Hz in best quality.   • Sony ECM-MS 907:

The ECM-MS907 is a high quality stereo-microphone for digital recordings. It records frequencies from 100 - 15000 Hz and has a good quality. It comes with a stand support and is the perfect choice for mobile recordings. It has a light weight and is easy to use. Recorder:

  • Sony MZ-RH 1 MiniDisk:

We decided to use the MiniDisk, because radio stations also record their mobile stuff with a MiniDisk.
The MiniDisk is small, easy to handle and very robust. One disc can save up to 1 Gigabyte of recording. This means you can record sound of nearly 40 hours (low quality). The discs are switchable, so there are nearly no boundaries for the space.
As MiniDisk-Recorder we chose the Sony MZ-RH 1.
It was also the only high quality recorder that was available at Amazon. The RH-1 is the new-generation MiniDisk-Recorder.
The rechargeable battery delivers power for about 12 hours.
Furthermore you can connect the RH-1 to the computer by USB.
We also appreciate the wide range of inputs that are available with this recorder (USB, LineIn, Microphone and Digital).
The file you've just recorded can be reviewed right after recording, because the RH-1 is also a player for MiniDisks. So if you aren't satisfied with your record you can record it a second, a third or whatever-you-want time ;-)
The following stuff comes with the RH-1: charger, rechargeable battery and the software SonicStage (for moving files to the computer)
